Working in the field of recycling, Aytan made it possible to recycle the ever-increasing plastic in a qualified way through bacteria thanks to her developed project. Eco-friendly projects developed for a cleaner world are among the topics of interest for entrepreneurs.

Demet Mutlu


Demet Mutlu, the founder of Trendyol, is among the inspiring Turkish women entrepreneurs with her entrepreneurial journey that started in a corner of her home. The project, launched in 2010, is among the ventures that attracted attention not only in Turkey but also in Europe. Indeed, Demet Mutlu was listed in the Outstanding Young Leaders of Europe category by Young Global Leaders in 2016.

Başak Demir, one of the finalists of the KADEM Women in Innovation 5th Entrepreneurship Camp, is among the Turkish women entrepreneurs who attract attention with her ZİHA project. The ZİHA project, which integrates aerial vehicles into agriculture, aims to prevent plant pests. This aims to increase agricultural productivity. In addition, eco-friendly projects are among the entrepreneurial ideas that attract interest today.

ZİHA can help farms and agricultural businesses increase crop yield, save time, and make land management decisions that will boost long-term success by using drone technology.

Nerve Cansu İşeri


Nerve Cansu İşeri, one of the winners of Women in Innovation 2021, was among the inspiring women entrepreneurs with her work on the production of herbal components used in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic sectors using microorganisms.

What is the KADEM Women in Innovation Program?


The Women in Innovation Program is a project organized to enhance women’s entrepreneurial skills and enable them to transform their ideas into ventures with high potential for creating qualified employment.

The women’s entrepreneurship camp, carried out in cooperation with TÜBİTAK Marmara Teknokent and KADEM, aimed to increase women’s entrepreneurial skills and enable entrepreneurs to transform their technology and innovation-oriented business ideas into ventures with high potential for creating added value and qualified employment. The Women in Innovation Entrepreneurship Camp has been held since 2015.
