Organized in collaboration with KADEM (Women and Democracy Association), TÜBİTAK Marmara Technopark, Bilişim Vadisi, and TOBB ETÜ, the 5th Women in Innovation Entrepreneurship Camp was held with the aim of enhancing women’s entrepreneurial skills and enabling them to secure qualified employment.
Between February 22 and August 30, 2020, 30 female entrepreneurs were selected from a total of 235 projects that applied to the camp with the slogan “I Have an Idea and I Want to Bring It to Life.” Due to the pandemic, the 15-day camp was held online and covered the following topics:
- Entrepreneurship and Start-Up Ecosystem,
- Start-Up Analysis and Technological Maturity,
- Leadership in Entrepreneurship,
- SWOT Analysis of Business Ideas,
- Business Law, and Mentoring.
At the end of the camp, organized in collaboration with KADEM, TÜBİTAK Marmara Teknokent, Bilişim Vadisi, and TOBB ETÜ, the 5 successful projects that reached the final stage were awarded an additional support of 25,000 TL per project (if they are eligible to receive one of the financial supports provided by national and international official institutions and organizations) and the right to carry out their projects for one year at the Incubation Center for one year to carry out their project work.
