WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS WILL COMPETE WITH THEIR PROJECTS IN A PROGRAM WITH A 1 MILLION TL PRIZE!

FINAL WEEK IN KADEM’S ‘INNOVATION WITH WOMEN’ PROGRAM

Women and Democracy Association KADEM’s ‘Innovation with Women’ Program, launched to support and guide women entrepreneurs, has qualified 31 women entrepreneurs in two separate categories this year. The women who qualified for the camp will receive training for one week. The award ceremony will be on September 22.

The women entrepreneurs who qualified to participate in the ‘Innovation with Women Program,’ organized for the 8th time under the leadership of the Women and Democracy Association (KADEM), have been announced. 320 aspiring entrepreneurs applied in two separate categories for the Entrepreneurship Camp held between September 16-22. As a result of the evaluation by an expert jury, 31 women entrepreneurs’ projects made it to the finals.

SUPPORT PROVIDED TO WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS DURING THE CAMP

In the new period, women entrepreneurs participating in the camp will receive training from a professional team on company formation and project development. Additionally, they will be provided with application mentorship for national and international projects, along with photo/video promotion opportunities in digital newspapers. During the camp, candidates will have free access to certain finance, sales, marketing, and customer management applications.

1 MILLION TL PRIZE FOR 6 ENTREPRENEURS

At the end of the camp, 6 successful entrepreneur candidates selected by the jury will be awarded a total of 1 million TL in prize money, provided they meet the specified conditions within one year.

The award-winning entrepreneurs will be announced at the award ceremony to be held on Sunday, September 22, at 12:00 PM.

Idea stage and pre-incubation category:

  • First Prize: 225,000 TL
  • Second Prize: 175,000 TL
  • Third Prize: 100,000 TL

Incubation category:

  • First Prize: 225,000 TL
  • Second Prize: 175,000 TL
  • Third Prize: 100,000 TL

First-place winners will also receive support to attend one of the major international entrepreneurship events (Web Summit, Slush, CES, etc.).

FULL SUPPORT EVEN AFTER THE CAMP

Every year at the KADEM Innovation with Women Camp, entrepreneurs are provided with free use of open office and prototyping workshops, experience sharing with other entrepreneurs, and access to investment funds. Additionally, women entrepreneurs receive office and workshop support for their project work for the first year.

THANKS TO THE INNOVATION WITH WOMEN PROGRAM, 16 WOMEN HAVE ESTABLISHED THEIR OWN COMPANIES TO DATE

Since 2015, over 2,000 women entrepreneurs have applied to the KADEM Innovation with Women Program. More than 200 women entrepreneurs have participated in training camps. Of these entrepreneurs, 16 have established their companies, and 6 women entrepreneurs have received investments. Entrepreneurs who have won awards in national and international competitions continue to achieve significant successes.

CORIDOR PROJECT

(Ravzanur Eker – Pre-Incubation 2022 7th Entrepreneurship Camp Finalist)

Coridor is a mobile application initiative that provides experience-oriented marketing and collects feedback by gamifying useful internal and external corporate events and projects.

INVAMAR WEARABLE DEVICES PROJECT

(Merve Aydıner – Incubation 2022 7th Entrepreneurship Camp Finalist)

 

Invamar is an innovation studio that uses technology to improve health and wellness through smart wearable devices and surfaces.

SUPERCONDUCTING CABLE

(Zuhal Oktay Çoşkun – Pre-Incubation Category 2022 7th Entrepreneurship Camp Finalist)

Paved the way for Turkey’s first domestic and national fiber optic cable production. Enabled the domestic production of next-generation superconducting (fiber optic) cables and their application to integrated transmission lines with electric charging stations.

KÖSTEBEK

(Müge Baltacu – Incubation Category 2022 7th Entrepreneurship Camp Finalist)

Köstebek is a holistic e-waste management platform that manages individuals’ and institutions’ electronic waste in the most environmentally friendly, economical, and end-to-end manner. It aims to reduce carbon emissions from electronic waste by 50% by 2030.

BIONOME

(Nerve Cansu İşeri – 2021 6th Entrepreneurship Camp Finalist)

It produces chemicals and active ingredients using deep technology applications with genetic and bioprocess engineering methods, adhering to principles of sustainability, zero waste, and carbon neutrality.

HELIMORE

(Başak Demir – 2020 5th Entrepreneurship Camp Finalist)

With advanced drone models produced by Helimore Aviation, Turkey’s award-winning domestic agricultural unmanned aerial vehicle manufacturer, it protects human and environmental health during agricultural spraying while preventing plant pests.

GENE-ON

(Begüm Esra Aytan – 2017 3rd Entrepreneurship Camp Finalist)

It enables the qualified recycling of PET-type plastic through bacterial enzymes by producing biological technologies for more effective, environmentally friendly, and low-cost waste recycling.

BIOLIVE

(Duygu Yılmaz – 2016 2nd Entrepreneurship Camp Participant)

She received support from the KADEM Innovation with Women program for her bioplastic granule produced from olive pits, which are considered waste. The bioplastic she produces is currently used in sectors such as spare parts for environmentally friendly automobiles, plastic food materials, the electrical and electronics industry, sustainable textile products, and plant-based leather.
