KADEM Met the Global Innovation Ecosystem at VivaTech Paris 2026

The KADEM Women in Innovation team participated in the VivaTech 2026 event held in Paris from June 17-20, 2026, meeting with leading technology, entrepreneurship, and investment ecosystem representatives from around the world.

At the event, which brought together over 200,000 visitors, more than 15,000 startups, and 4,000 investors this year, KADEM explored new collaboration opportunities to strengthen women’s entrepreneurship on international platforms.

Ayşe Aslı Başak (Shipsider), one of the entrepreneurs from the KADEM Women in Innovation Program, held important meetings with international investors and industry representatives throughout the event, securing new business opportunities. In particular, contacts made with CMA CGM, one of the world’s leading shipping companies, and one-on-one meetings with international investors provided significant gains for the startup’s global growth targets.

During the program, the Turkish Pavilion was visited, and efforts to increase the international visibility of Turkish technology startups were closely monitored. Additionally, Station F, one of the world’s largest startup campuses, was visited to examine best practice examples in the entrepreneurship ecosystem.

The KADEM delegation also met with Anna Ravanona, founder of the Global InvestHER platform, which connects women entrepreneurs with global investment networks. Potential collaborations such as podcast initiatives, investor meetings, and joint programs to increase the international visibility of women entrepreneurs were discussed during the meeting.

The contacts made during VivaTech 2026 strengthened KADEM’s vision of supporting women entrepreneurs in accessing international markets and laid an important foundation for future joint projects and global collaborations.
