Women Entrepreneurs Shared Their Stories in the “Inspiring Figures” Panel and Dialogue – Experience Sharing Sessions

Innovative ideas, entrepreneurial journeys, experience sharing, and inspiring stories… Women entrepreneurs who have been finalists for 7 terms in KADEM’s Women in Innovation program gathered at the alumni meeting.

Women entrepreneurs participating in the Women in Innovation program, which the Women and Democracy Association (KADEM) has been running since 2015 to support women’s entrepreneurship, met in Istanbul. 8. In the “Alumni Meeting” held before the 7th term training camp, panelists, mentors, and alumni shared their entrepreneurial stories and experiences during the day-long programs.

In the panel moderated by KADEM Entrepreneurship Consultant and RoofStacks & GoArt co-founder Esra Soylu, Aksense founder & CEO Dr. Asiye Karakullukçu, Hepsiburada Senior Commercial Social Projects Coordinator Duygu Aktaş, and Macellan co-founder & COO Hayrunnisa Pektaş Sarı inspired young entrepreneurs with their entrepreneurial stories. Soylu stated that every venture has a unique story, and everyone is the hero of their own story, adding that whether it’s a commercial or social enterprise, entrepreneurship requires strong will, support, and hard work to succeed.

In the Dialogue – Experience Sharing session of the program, which continued with entrepreneur/mentor meetings, Başak Demir, one of the Women in Innovation finalists, presented her ‘Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Systems-Helimore’ initiative, Dr. Kübra Kablan Tuğlu presented her ‘For Physician’ initiative, and Zülal Tannur, Founder and CEO of From Your Eyes Artificial Intelligence and Software Technologies Trade Inc., shared her entrepreneurial journey.

The “2024 Women in Innovation Alumni Meeting” concluded with a fun candle-making workshop.

Since 2015, KADEM has been implementing the Women in Innovation program to enhance the skills of women entrepreneurs who say “I have an idea” and enable them to transform their ideas into high-potential enterprises for qualified employment.

So far, 7 training camps have been organized within the scope of the program. A total of 2350 women entrepreneurs applied to the project over 7 terms. The number of women entrepreneurs selected for and trained in the Women in Innovation training camps is 204.
