“Women in Innovation 2022” Finalists Receive Their Awards
KADEM -led “Women in Innovation” project, organized for the 7th time, will announce its award winners this Sunday.
The women entrepreneurs who made it to the finals after the training sessions within the scope of the project will be announced at a ceremony to be held on Sunday, November 13, at 10:30 AM at the Bakırköy Titanic Hotel.
The ceremony will be attended by Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank, KADEM Board of Trustees Chair Sümeyye Erdoğan Bayraktar, KADEM President Saliha Okur Gümrükçüoğlu, and management representatives from project partners.

The current stage of the project, organized under the Entrepreneurship Financial Support Program of the Istanbul Development Agency; with the partnership of Yıldız Technopark, Istanbul TTO, Turkish Exporters Assembly, Üsküdar Municipality, the participation of TÜBİTAK Marmara Technocity, Bilişim Vadisi, and the support of KOSGEB, is nearing completion.
At the ceremony, which was postponed to November 13 due to the tragic mining accident in Bartın, the women entrepreneurs who participated in the camp organized within the project and reached the finals will be announced.
This year, in the 7th Women in Innovation project;
A total of 300 thousand TL in awards will be given to the top 3 entrepreneurs in the pre-incubation period: 150 thousand TL for the first place, 100 thousand TL for the second, and 50 thousand TL for the third.
Three projects deemed worthy of the incubation award will receive “seed investment support.”
Entrepreneurs will also be provided with office and workshop support for their project work for the first year.
Since its inception in 2015, over 2,000 women entrepreneurs have applied to the Women in Innovation Project. Over 200 women entrepreneurs have participated in innovation camps. Among the 30 women entrepreneurs who reached the finals and received awards and certificates after the camps, 13 established their own companies and won awards in national and international competitions, achieving significant success in various sectors.
Every year at the Women in Innovation Camp, entrepreneurs are provided with free access to open office and prototyping workshops, opportunities to share experiences with other entrepreneurs, and access to investment funds. During the camp, which also offers mentorship for national and international project applications and photo/video promotion opportunities in digital newspapers, free access to finance, sales, marketing, and customer management applications is also provided.
